Tomatoes

Doce Do Sol

Doce Do Sol is a fantastic cross of the SunGold and SunSugar varieties of cherry tomato. Both of these varieties are known for their sweet flavor and productive nature. Through careful selection and stabilization, we have been able to achieve massive yields, even in the scorching hot California Central Valley heat, while retaining the amazing sweet flavors that have drawn gardeners to these varieties. While already resistant to tobacco mosaic and other viruses, as well as blossom end rot, the selection of this new variety has hardened them even further ensuring little to no blossom drop off.

Oppenheimer

The Oppenheimer tomato was named after its cross of the Striped German heirloom tomato and an Atomic Fusion tomato bred by Wild Boar Farms. While the phenotype selected and stabilized retains much more of the look of the Atomic Fusion, there has been a noticeable increase in both yield and distinct flavor imparted by the Striped German parent. This cross is extremely productive and while relatively stable, has more potential for standout phenotypes within the current seed stock. The tomatoes have a beautiful green flesh inside, juxtaposed by a light pink/red outer skin.

Stargazer

The Stargazer tomato, a cross of Cosmic Eclipse x Midnight Snack, is a lovely variety that retains many of the best traits of both parents. The tops of these beautiful tomatoes resemble the Midnight Snack variety with its very high anthocyanin content (purple coloring). But as you move towards the bottom of this variety, it begins to resemble its Cosmic Eclipse roots with its multi-colored stripe pattern. It has a soft outer flesh and a sweet flavor. Perfect for salads due to its flavor and array of eye catching colors, this variety is a staple for anyone wanting a hardy tomato that lends itself well to dishes where it can stand on its own.

Ich Bin Ein Brasileiro

A play on the famous speech by JFK, this tomato is a beautiful combination of its German roots and Brazilian namesake. Taking the Doce Do Sol I created and crossing it to a Blondkopfchen from Germany, we might have struck gold with this variety. While only ever so slightly less flavorful than the Doce Do Sol, this variety more than makes up for it with its IMMENSE yields. This is because the Blondkopfchen is a multiflora tomato, one that produces massive amounts of flowers and therefore massive yields. This plant does not stop producing clusters of new flowers until it's forced to by the frost. Unbelievably great variety to have in the garden, especially if you're a cherry tomato fan.

Juliet x Midnight Snack

I've grown the Juliet tomato before and it's a perfectly acceptable tomato, just nothing special. Well, I wanted to try to make something a little bit more exciting with it so I could rename it how my wife spells her name, Juliette. I had a Midnight Snack tomato growing, which is a staple breeder due to its cool look, stable genetics, and high anthocyanin content, and decided to breed them together. What came out not only made the Juliet yield better, but the taste actually improved, as well as slightly increasing the anthocyanin content. This is a jack of all trades tomato, and is massively resistant to heat and disease.
